Programs & activities

Connected support for stronger, more independent lives.

Our nonprofit initiatives connect rehabilitation practice with access, emotional wellbeing, professional development, and public action for disability inclusion in Albania.

Program 01

Physical rehabilitation & therapy support

Person-centred support focused on mobility, functional ability, comfort, confidence, and participation in everyday life. Depending on assessed needs, activities may include guided movement, therapeutic exercise, practical education, caregiver orientation, and coordination with appropriate health professionals.

Typical focus: assessment-led support, informed participation, practical follow-up, and coordination with families or professionals where appropriate.

Program 02

Mobility aids & accessibility advocacy

Initiatives that help people understand and pursue appropriate mobility solutions while drawing attention to barriers in homes, services, public spaces, education, and employment. Workshops encourage practical accessibility planning and rights-aware community responses.

Typical focus: assessment-led support, informed participation, practical follow-up, and coordination with families or professionals where appropriate.

Program 03

Psychological support & social reintegration

Disability and changing physical function can affect emotional wellbeing, relationships, and social connection. Our approach promotes respectful listening, peer connection, family understanding, referral where needed, and gradual re-engagement with community life.

Typical focus: assessment-led support, informed participation, practical follow-up, and coordination with families or professionals where appropriate.

Program 04

Vocational training & public awareness

Activities designed to strengthen confidence, transferable skills, professional knowledge, and public understanding. Awareness initiatives challenge stigma and promote the inclusion of persons with disabilities in education, employment, civic life, and local decision-making.

Typical focus: assessment-led support, informed participation, practical follow-up, and coordination with families or professionals where appropriate.

Capacity building

Learning that strengthens services.

SHRFPAK values practical education for rehabilitation practitioners, support workers, families, and community partners. Structured learning and supervised demonstration can improve shared understanding, reinforce safe practice, and build a more informed network around persons with disabilities.
